What are industrial films?
By industrial films we mean all technical films that can be used for industrial applications. Such films include the following plastic materials:
- Polycarbonate films
- PMMA films (Plexiglas films)
- Polyester (PET) films
- Fluorpolymer films
- PEI films
- PBT-PC films
Due to our long experience as a wholesaler for technical films, we are happy to advise you on the selection of the right films for your industrial project or industrial manufacturing processes. For this purpose, we provide you with data sheets of our products. For initial tests or the production of first prototypes, we can offer you the delivery of samples.
We offer our films cut to size into a rectangular sheet or in rolls in various thicknesses and colours. In our large range available on stock we offer many products made of different plastics for usage in the industry. To find out more about our product range and delivery conditions, please send us an email or give us a call.

Types and manufacturers of industrial films
As a long-standing distributor and converter of technical films, we offer you an extensive range of industrial films in various surface types and thicknesses to meet professional demands. These include products with enormous temperature resistance or solutions that are suitable for various printing processes. In addition, our films offer an ideal basis for manufacturing processes, finishing and many other purposes.
In order to be able to offer you a consistent quality, we work closely with established manufacturers of films. These include:
- Sabic - well known for polycarbonate films (Lexan)
- Covestro - known for polycarbonate film (Makrofol and Bayfol)
- Polyvantis (former Röhm) - known for PMMA (Plexiglas film)
- DuPont Teijin Film - known for PET (Melinex and Mylar)
- Chemours – market leader for fluoropolymer films (Teflon™ and Tefzel™)
- And many other manufacturers
Another great advantage of our cooperation is that we are informed about further developments at an early stage and can thus advise you even better.
Our technical films can be roughly categorised as follows:
Polycarbonate films for increased continuous use temperature
Polycarbonate films are stable for a continuous use temperature of 105 degrees Celsius. They can withstand up to 160 degrees Celsius for short periods and become thermo-elastic (thermoforming) above 190 / 200 degrees Celsius. Polycarbonate films also offer excellent chemical and mechanical properties, making them an ideal solution for manufacturing companies.
Polycarbonate films are available in various surface types (polished, matt, fine matt, velvet matt) and thicknesses. They thus cover an enormously wide range of applications and are very often used for heat-resistant requirements and stable packaging solutions.
UL listed industry films
Many products require flame retardant films that meet specific fire protection classes. We offer flame-retardant variants made of various materials from leading brands and manufacturers. These are flame retardant films made of polycarbonate, PEI and PBT with consistent insulation properties and good printability.
PMMA film with great UV stability
We also offer quality PMMA products of the Plexiglas brand as rolls or sheets. This material is extremely UV and weather resistant. Due to the addition of the plastic polybutyl acrylate (PBA) as an impact modifier, the films are flexible, easy to cut and to process by laser.
Plexiglas film is either absolutely crystal clear or milky white and has a glossy surface in both versions. The colourless qualities have particularly good light transmission properties. They have a strong resistance to weathering and abrasion and are absolutely colourless. White films (come in sheet instead of a roll) achieve excellent light diffusion effects through the use of diffuser pigments.
Fluoropolymer films – premium products for particularly demanding applications
Our Teflon™ and Tefzel™ fluoropolymer films are genuine high-performance films for particularly demanding applications. Fluoropolymer film is a low-friction thermoplastic used in the manufacture of high-performance products. The most important advantages of FEP, PFA and ETFE films include excellent temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance, high transparency and UV stability, and a non-stick surface. This makes fluoropolymer films an ideal solution for high-quality and particularly demanding industrial applications.
Sustainable industrial film, better for the environment
Sustainability is a major issue for the industry in our current times when plastic waste is a major problem for the environment. The reduction of CO2 and the search for environmentally friendly materials are becoming more important.
With our ecological film solutions, we are able to offer you and your company a more environmentally friendly alternative and an option for higher sustainability.
PEI films with particularly high temperature resistance
Ultem 1000 B is a heat-resistant product made of the plastic polyetherimide (PEI). The PEI film has an excellent quality, heat resistance, flame retardancy (UL 94 V0 listed) and low moisture absorption. Ultem films are characterised by good dielectric properties for electrical engineering and electronics. These include, for example, internal insulation against strong voltage, on motors or wedge tongues, as well as highly heat-resistant adhesive tapes. Transformer windings or layer and phase insulation can also be easily implemented with PEI films.
Biaxially oriented polyester (PET) films for industries
Our biaxially oriented polyester films are characterised by an excellent resistance to temperatures. PET films also have a good tensile strength and tear resistance, excellent chemical, mechanical and thermal stability and excellent transparency. Polyester (PET) films are good electrical insulators, show low moisture absorption (0.3%) and a dielectric strength up to 180 kV/mm. With a printing pre-treatment, most of our PET films can be printed well and homogeneously.
As a converter and distributor for technical films, we offer you our products as rolls or rectangular sheets. You can buy plastic films from us in various thicknesses and surface structures / colours such as clear, milky or white. Due to our close cooperation with the industrial film manufacturers, we can also fulfil special customer requests. Furthermore, we offer you the possibility to order samples for first tests or prototypes. If you have any questions about the processing, packaging, delivery, storage or product properties such as tear resistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our team will be happy to advise you and offer you further services.
Are there differences in the processing of films?
Our films for industry can be processed in different ways depending on the material. Special accessories or tools are required for most processing. Our films can be cut, punched, lasered (PMMA films) and glued. Most films can be printed well and consistently in various printing processes, using suitable inks. Many of our special films can also be digitally printed. For further product information or specific processing enquiries, please do not hesitate to call us.
