Melinex ST507 is a fully heat stabilised optically clear polyester film with very low shrinkage. This product is suitable for use as flexible printed circuit layer in membrane touch switches. ST507 is a transparent polyester film based on Melinex® S. It has good handling characteristics and is recommended for silver circuitry applications, particularly where roll to roll printers are used and where there is no requirement for specialist adhesion promotion. It also finds its application for automobile wiring, appliances, RFID tags, smart card lead frames and antennae. It is available in the thickness of 125 µm and offered in rolls and rectangular sheets in the required format.

The established Melinex® films are high quality, heat stabilized, flexible biaxially oriented polyester films (polyethylene terephthalate) with excellent chemical, electric and thermic propoerties that can be used for various industrial and electronic applications. BoPET (biaxially-oriented polyester films) are polyester films made from stretched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and are used because of their high tensile strength, chemical and dimensional stability, transparency, reflectivity, gas and aroma barrier properties as well as their electrical insulation characteristics.
