Melinex® ST 506 is a fully heat stabilised optically clear PET film in 0,125 mm thickness with very low shrinkage. A pre-treated on both surfaces ensures an enhanced adhesion to inks and lacquers, making it particularly suitable for graphics and circuitry layers of membrane touch switches. Melinex® ST 506 is UL 94 VTM-2 listed, available in the thicknesses between 125 µm - 175 µm and is offered in rolls or sheets.

Melinex® ST films are high quality, heat stabilized and flexible biaxially oriented polyester films (polyethylene terephthalate) with excellent chemical, electric and thermic propoerties that can be used for various industrial and electronic applications. BoPET (biaxially-oriented polyester films) are polyester films made from stretched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and are used because of their high tensile strength, chemical and dimensional stability, transparency, reflectivity, gas and aroma barrier properties as well as their electrical insulation characteristics.
