Melinex 339 is an exceptionally white, opaque film pre treated on both sides to promote adhesion to most printing inks and industrial coatings. It is used as a base for pressure sensitive labels, photographic printing paper, in security and access cards, in multiple use tickets, as a substrate for medical test strips, and for other printing applications. It is offered in rolls or rectangular sheets.

Melinex® films are high quality, heat stabilized, flexible biaxially oriented polyester films (polyethylene terephthalate) with excellent chemical, electric and thermic propoerties that can be used for various industrial and electronic applications. BoPET (biaxially-oriented polyester films) are polyester films made from stretched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and are used because of their high tensile strength, chemical and dimensional stability, transparency, reflectivity, gas and aroma barrier properties as well as their electrical insulation characteristics.
