Lexan 8B35 is a high quality and 500 µm thick polycarbonate film that is produced by Sabic IP. The transparent PC film has a velvet / matt surface. Lexan 8B35 is characterized by an excellent dimensional stability, an outstanding mechanical strength and impact resistance, high temperature resistance and a very good printability without pre- treatment. It is available in thicknesses between 125 µm and 500 µm and is offered in rolls or sheets.

Textured LEXAN film grades such as Lexan 8B35 offer broad design flexibility and aesthetic appeal. Twoside textured polycarbonate films can be designed with square corners, straight sides, narrow-width lines and flat plateaus. Key features of the films include excellent printability without pre-treatment and clean edge diecut ability. Clear windows can be wet out using screen printed inks for applications that require a combination of texture and polish. Textured films are suitable for a broad range of applications including automotive dials, consumer electronics, labels for industrial equipment, control panels for HVAC and office equipment.
