Lexan 8B28-82728 is a high quality polycarbonate film in a thickness of 0,5 mm that is produced by Sabic. The white opale PC film has a velvet / matt surface. The polycarbonate film is characterized by an excellent dimensional stability, an outstanding mechanical strength, high temperature resistance and a very good printability without pre- treatment.

Typical applications are illuminated labels and displays. The white film in polycarbonate Lexan 8B28-82728 is available in the thicknesses between 250 and 500 µm and is offered in rolls and rectangular sheets.

Textured LEXAN films such as the white Lexan 8B28 in 500 µm grades offer broad design flexibility and aesthetic appeal. Both-sided textured polycarbonate films can be designed with square corners, straight sides, narrow-width lines and flat plateaus. Key features of the PC films include excellent printability without pre-treatment and clean edge diecut ability. Clear windows can be wet out using screen printed inks for applications that require a combination of texture and polish. Textured films are suitable for a broad range of applications including automotive dials, consumer electronics, labels for industrial equipment, control panels for HVAC and office equipment.
