Lexan 8A13 is a high quality polycarbonate film in a thickness of 0,5 mm that is produced by Sabic. The transparent PC film has a fine matt / polished surface. Lexan 8A13 is characterized by an excellent dimensional stability, an outstanding mechanical strength and impact resistance, high temperature resistance and a very good printability without pre- treatment. It is available in thicknesses between 175 µm and 500 µm and is offered in rolls or sheets.

The polycarbonate film combines the advantages of a polished film (high brilliance and transparency) with the advantages of a textured film. In most cases it is printed on the polished side which is used as reverse side. The front side then is velvet matt to avoid light reflections. Lexan 8A13 with a thickness of 0,5 mm is easy to process and used for various applications such as automotive dials, consumer electronics, labels for industrial equipment, control panels for HVAC and office equipment.
