Lexan™ 8010 is a polycarbonate film with both sides polished surfaces and a thickness of 0,175 mm. It is characterized by an outstanding optical clarity, a high mechanical strength and impact resistance, a consistent printability as well as an ease of processing. A protection film on both sides ensures that the film is protected against scratches. The polycarbonate film LEXAN™ 8010 ensures a top quality performance and a virtually unlimited versatility. It is available in the thickness between 125 µm and 500 µm and is offered in rolls or sheets.

The polished LEXAN™ films offer 86% to 92% light transmission across all gauges. Some of these films are available in custom colors, subject to a minimum order quantity. In addition, various masking types are available to meet specific customer requirements. Potential applications are in-mold decoration applications for automotive interiors, appliances and consumer electronics, LED/LCD display windows or medical packaging.

Key benefits of Lexan™ 8010 in 0,175 mm are a true color reproduction, an excellent depth effect with no loss of vividness in second-surface printing, easy formability, excellent printability and an increased pencil hardness. The high resistance to temperatures makes the polycarbonate film ideal for applications with temperatures of up to 130°C.
