Bayfol CR films are made out of a blend of a polycarbonate and PBT. This grade has outstanding cold-forming properties and is thus ideal for high-pressure forming and film insert molding (FIM). Bayfol CR has excellent chemical resistance and flexibility. The latter makes Bayfol CR the optimum grade for producing film keypads and membrane switches.

Bayfol CR 6-2 000000 is a dazzle-free extruded film based on a Makrolon (PC) / Pocan (PBT) -blend with high dynamic strength, increased chemical resistance, good cold formability and high scratch resistance. The surface structure is one side fine velvet, one side very fine matt. Bayfol CR 6-2 000000 is available in various standard thicknesses and is offered in rolls and sheets. Typical applications are membrane switch overlays, nameplates, keypads and touch panels.
