Bayfol CR is a blend of a polycarbonate and an PBT film. This grade has outstanding cold-forming properties and is thus ideal for high-pressure forming and film insert molding (FIM). Bayfol CR has excellent chemical resistance and flexibility. The latter makes Bayfol CR the optimum grade for producing film keypads and membrane switches.

Bayfol CR 1-4 000000 is an extruded film based on a Makrolon (PC) / Pocan (PBT) -blend comprising high dynamic strength, good cold formability and increased chemical resistance. The surface combination is one side gloss - one side fine matt. The Polycarbonate / PBT film is available in various thicknesses and is offered in rolls and sheets. Typical applications are membrane switch overlays, nameplates, keypads and touch panels.
