PEI films - resistant to high temperatures

Ultem™

Ultem™

Ultem™ 1000 is a flame-retardant PEI film which offers an excellent combination of a performance at high temperatures with low moisture absorption and dielectric strength. It has been used in high voltage internal insulation, high-temperature PSA tapes, motor slot liners and wedges, transformer wraps, layer and phase insulation, and speaker cones. ULTEM™ 1000B film is a thermoformable material and can be heatsealed to a wide variety of metals and thermoplastics. Ultem™ 1000 is available in different thicknesses on demand and is offered in rolls and sheets.

PEI films for high performance applications

film with high resistance against temperatures for demanding electronical and electric applications

PEI films offer a specially high temperature resistance, flame retardance, a very low moisture absorption and excellent dielectric characteristics.  They are used in high voltage internal insulation, high-temperature PSA tapes, motor slot liners and wedges, transformer wraps, layer and phase insulation, and speaker cones.

ULTEM™ resin is an amorphous thermoplastic polyetherimide (PEI) resins that offers outstanding elevated thermal resistance, high strength and stiffness, and broad chemical resistance. ULTEM 1000B film is a thermoformable material and can be heatsealed to a wide variety of metals and thermoplastics.

With Ultem films the König Film Centre offers a high quality PEI film and the suitable solution for your application. We are looking forward to receiving your inquiry and support you with samples, technical data sheets and other information in your project.
