The high-performance coated pc film Lexan™ HP 92 S offers very good chemical and abrasion resistance together with unique processing characteristics. The highly durable polycarbonate film is well printable. A protection film ensures that both sides are protected. The scratch resistant film Lexan™ HP 92 S is available in thicknesses between 175 µm and 500 µm and is offered in rolls and sheets.

Scratch-resistant high-performance film

These highly transparent and glossy polycarbonate films convince with their optical properties and are almost invisible when looking through them. This makes them the ideal solution for various industrial and graphic applications.
Due to a special surface coating, the film has an anti-scratch surface that is resistant to chemicals and cleaning agents. The visual appearance of the film does not change due to this invisible coating.

Properties of scratch-resistant high-performance films
Scratch-resistant high-performance films combine the advantages of classic PC films with excellent scratch resistance. The films are also particularly resistant to chemicals and can be cleaned even with aggressive cleaning agents.
They have the following properties:
- high optical transparency.
- mechanical impact strength.
- distinct resistance to temperatures from - 40 °C to 130 °C (continuous use temperature of 105 °C).
- high dimensional stability.
- good dielectric and insulating properties.
The scratch-resistant films have a polished, high-gloss surface with a protective film on both sides. The film thus offers protection against damage and scratches during transport, installation and processing.
Applications
The field of application of scratch-resistant high-performance films is similar to that of conventional films made of polycarbonate. Scratch-resistant films are particularly suitable when the films are exposed to greater mechanical stress or come into contact with aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals. By using scratch-resistant high-performance films, finished parts have a significantly higher durability and are therefore more sustainable.
